He has ministered in 5 churches with the last 3 as Pastor for a total of 42 years.  He retired after 15 years at Brush Creek Baptist Church in Springdale about 2 years ago.
He and his wife Jackee have been married almost 45 years.  They have 3 daughters and sons in law plus 8 grandchildren.

 Michael Varble

Music Minister, Administrative Assistant,  and Interim Youth Minister

Michael has been leading the music at Lakeside since August 2008.  He helps his wife DeAnna home school their three children Morgan, Parker, & Calvin.
Michael was born a preacher's kid and accepted Jesus as his Savior when he was seven.  He was always active in the church and especially enjoyed choir and singing specials.  While in college, at Northeastern State University, he began leading music and choirs at some churches in the area.  After college, he and his wife moved to the Dallas area where he worked as a computer programmer.
They were active in First Baptist Church The Colony and he voluntarily led the choir and traditional service for several years.  After his job in Dallas was outsourced, Michael found employment in Northwest Arkansas, in January 2007.  Michael attended Rocky Branch Baptist Church for a time where he led music and helped to build a choir.  In April 2008, Michael was able to move his family to Rogers.  After searching for a new home church for his family, they felt the Lord leading them to join Lakeside Baptist, where they both are currently serving.
