Senior Pastor
Justin Risley and his wife, Dawnetta, came to Lakeside in January of 2022. He has served as full time and bi-vocational youth pastor for about 13 years in four Arkansas churches. He is a graduate of Williams Baptist University, and is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary online. He also served 6 years as a deputy at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
He and Dawnetta have been married since 2007 and have three boys; Brayden, Kaegan, and Corbyn. As a family, they enjoy baseball, fishing, music and reading.
Justin will tell you that missions is a huge part of his heart, and his personal mission statement in ministry is “For Nations and Neighbors.” He has recently become a published author with his first book, Chasing Roller Coasters.
